If you are curious to know how many look at this website then the reports below may well be of interest to you.


They are for full calendar years and this year up to October. I’ve added the ‘Countries’ report for October to show you from what part of the world visitors come from. As you will see there must be a lot of people accessing this website accidently.    


The number of hits is misleading for many people, including myself, as it is not the number of website viisits. The way I understand it is that if you access this website and you look at 1 page which has 3 photos then this is 4 hits.


The website went ‘live’ in January 2009 and I didn’t have the courage to tell anyone about it as it was mostly about me. I honestly thought that people would think I was on an ego trip, and I could understand that, but that was never my intention. So the unique visitor that month was me. Come February I confided with my good friend Billy Anderson and asked him if he would look at the site as I knew he would give an honest opinion. Most of my football was with Ryhope C.A (now Sunderland RCA) and Billy was there for most of that time. I was pleased when he gave it the thumbs up but it was still March before I let my family and other friends aware that the website was live. So February indicates 2 unique visitors and that was Billy and me.


Needless to say the increase in visitors since these early days I find totally amazing. The kind remarks I’ve received has made it all worthwhile. So thanks for visiting and I hope I’ve managed to spark off some great memories of your own.
